Hey Pat.. I wouldn't call your gear crude... You have some nice pieces in there... a sh101 and a 909 - both are worth more then their weight in gold in the current market. Throw in a 303 and you'd be almost cliche... :)
Sometimes, though, less is better... I remember the days when i spent hours/days/weeks trying to get my mirage dsk to do the things the big boys(girls for heidi) were doing with their s series machines. Came up with the most non-conforming original work ever.
BTW... Are you 100% sure that is YOUR 909 in the picture? Looks just like mine :0) And the JP8 is sweet.
