StatetoState is the nuts.

Cubik has a tendency to drag on a bit I think. I really like the first minute of it but then it gets a bit dull. I prefer 808 playing Cubik the way they used to back in 90/91. If anyone has got 808 live at Wembley arena 91 then you will see the difference. I think for me Cubik and In Yer Face and Pacific have lost a bit of their charm after so many remixes or new ways of playing them. What I mean is the original mixes are very powerful when played live, now they seem to be over very quick and they feel (to me) to have lost some of their aggression/head wrecking power.

With regards to the rest of the album it is an album full of tasty tunes. No one can come near 808state for a great tune that is full of new sounds, beats, timing and genral originality.

Thermo Kings is also a cool album. It has a tendency to become a bit boring with the Lopez mixes on it I think, but the Azura mixes are sweet, also Spanish Marching and Goa are strong on it.

So to answer the question is StattoState or Thermo Kings a good album, the answer is yes if your a seasoned listener and know the difference between happy slappy house or the real deal experementing.

And the new DVD and CD will be the greatest buy in dance music I have made for 5 fuckin years man and I can't wait!

hallelujah hallelujah amen amen to 808state!!!!!
