Just been reading the Joy Division 'Preston 28 Feb 1980' inside cd cover, and was wondering what does Happy Mondays mean?
An excerpt from it say's......"Blacburn meant serious violence for Stolkholm Monsters and Happy Mondays. Bastards. Bury meant the night of the J.D. riot".
Is it about northern gangs?
Any northern lads out there who know?
